Majora’s Mask 3D Limited Edition Coming to North America … And It’s Better Than Europe’s!

UPDATE: Well, that was fast — Amazon and Gamestop have now both sold out of their pre-order allotment. I guess they weren’t kidding when they called it Limited.

Confession time: I panicked a little bit when I realized I’d missed the window to pre-order the European Special Edition of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D (have you seen my Zelda collection??) I had the stupid pre-order page up on my stupid phone, and I was all set to GET THAT THING… then a bunch of terrible fate stuff happened in mid-December and I sort of lost my passion for games for a bit.  But now it’s 2015, and as fate would have it, things really aren’t that terrible after all. Unlike A Link Between Worlds, and unlike Hyrule Warriors (unless you lived in New York, like me), Majora’s Mask 3D is getting a Limited Edition that appears to be seeing wide release in the U.S… and it actually looks better than the European Special Edition! Behold:

What’s that, you say? I finally get to own a Skull Kid figure without paying $1000 for that (admittedly gorgeous) First4Figures version? Sign me up! The Limited Edition is currently available for pre-order for $49.99 at both Amazon and Gamestop.

Unfortunately, I still have to figure out a way to get ahold of that also-glorious-but-different European Special Edition…. I have a problem, guys.
