The PlayStation Vita version of Minecraft will be available on the PlayStation Store next week, a PlayStation Blog post has announced.

The PS Store’s Tuesday, October 14 update will finally bring the much-anticipated game to core Vita players for $19.99. Owners of Minecraft on PlayStation 3 can download the game on Vita for free, but those with only the PlayStation 4 version won’t be able to take advantage of the cross-buy promotion.

To complicate matters further, PS4 players can’t play on Vita for free, but Vita and/or PS3 owners can upgrade to exploring the block-based world of Minecraft on PS4 for $4.99. Worlds and saves can be transferred to and from PS3 and Vita, but transfers from those two versions to PS4 are final.

Minecraft PS Vita will be releasing at retail on November 11 for $19.99 as well.
